Richard Desmod the new owner of Channel 5, and owner of northern & shell, has officially stated that he has the intetion of making a deal with Edemol, the producers of Big Brother.Endemol's last deal with Channel 4, in 2007, is rumoured to have been worth £70 millin but it is likely that Desmond will only have to pay about £30 million if he is to secure a deal with Endemol.
Endemol has invested heavily in Big Brother and failing to secure a deal may be costly for them.
