come with us on a journey through time and space

The Mighty Boosh is a sitcom created by Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding. It was originally a live show, and then a radio show, but has since become a popular sitcom on BBC3 with three successful series.

The series follow Characters Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) and Howard Moon (Julian Barratt) through countless adventures as they struggle to become a successful band.

Some other characters include:
  • Naboo, a shaman - played by Michael Fielding
  • Bollo, a gorilla - played by Dave Brown
  • Bob Fossil - played by Rich Fulcher
  • Dixon Bainbridge - played by Matt Berry

I chose to use The Mighty Boosh for my sitcom case study as i am a fan of it, and as it is a more subversive sitcom i think it wil be interesting to write about.

Ross tried to stop brand ?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/sep/20/jonathan-ross-russell-brand-sachsgate

Russel Brand has revealed, in his new book, how Ross twice tried to convince him not to air the answer phone messages left to Sachsgate.

"I said I thought they were funny so we decided to leave them in"

In Brand's new book, serialised Booky wook 2 by the sun today, he claims that the BBC were previously concerned that there may be a problem even before the Daily Mail splashed the story all over the place.

He also writes, "For the next weeks show they asked us not to refer to the incident, which i didn't. Well i did a bit."

Brand resigned after the scandal as did Ross after his contract ended this year.

Magazine representing gender i an interresting way: Nuts Magazine
I have chosen Nuts Magazine because i think that it represents both genders in interresting ways. I think that the magazine shows females as toys or items to be used, and it shows males as lazy and perverted.

i think that this is an unfair view of both males and females, obviously there are those who play to these stereotypes but the i the geneal public most people do not fit into either of these catergories.

... all we know is he's called the STIG

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11162227

"Some say that in a previous life he was a muscle car and he can drive a stick only with his left foot. All we know is he's called the Stig."

Ben Collins has today won a legal fight enabling him to publish a book claiming that he is the stig. As a former Formula3 driver, stuntman and all around action man it is quite possible that he is the stig, but could this cause trouble with the BBC and future Top gear seasons.

He has been a stunt double for actors Nicholas Cage and Daniel Graig and has served time in the army, his publicist has said that he keeps fit by running marathons and triathlons, so with all this could he really be the stig?

i can see clearly now
